One of our customers over the last year has been Serck Aviation who manufacture heat exchangers, we have assisted in the design and detailing of one of their first projects done on Pro/ENGINEER.

The Haydndesign and Serck worked together to deliver on time by defining areas of work and careful project control to keep the project on path, ensuring meetings with manufacturers were held whenever possible to assist in the design process.

The engine structure was imported from Unigraphics via iges and stitched up using Pro/Surface techniques, this was done so that we could design the casing to fit into the engine structure, assessing packaging and maintenance issues. 

Pro/Sheetmetal and Pro/Surface along with Pro/Assembly modules were used to define the geometry, and produce detail drawings for manufacture.

By using Pro/Mechanism design we were able to accurately simulate the fitting of the heater matrix into the casing prior to expensive tooling. Please email an enquiry and I can explain how.
