Haydndesign has been involved in
many projects involving integrating mechanical and
electrical/electronic components to create complex reliable
products some examples follow:-
19" Rack Chassis design. circa 2005
19" rack system integration working
closely with electronics and production engineers to develop
from conceptual sketches a new 8U product. This required a
considerable amount of thermal analysis to dissipate the heat
generated from the units multiple high power asics. This was
done using a study of the 'whole' cabinet using CFdesign's
superb code to understand the cooling flow paths and general
cooling requirements of such a product.

Also Mechanica was used to evaluate the
strength of key components and further develop the chassis
design to check the forces and function of the end product.
This project required all the
documentation to be completed including detail drawing, user
manual illustrations, using ProE and Adobe Illustrator.
Professional Broadcasting equipment
2000 - to date
Here we worked with Richard Bush
Limited, an established supplier to the broadcasting industry,
re-developing the identity of their product and put in place a
family design, where the products kept their roots but were able
to deliver many sizes of device, using a cost effective design.

An industrial duplex A3+ electrostatic
printer - circa 1997
Here the project included paper path
definition R & D test machine design, and the liaison with
Japanese subcontract engineers to incorporate best in class
paper handling. Several Patents were issued during this
development project.

using sheetmetal, extrusions, plastic mouldings, and the EMC
requirements then please contact me via the red email button
